so, thursday... well, i spent my day folding letters and addressing envelopes and doing some research for various projects. the planning meeting for the HAC happened, which i couldn't sit in on because there were so many people there already... bit miffed at that but could understand it. sad though.
friday maria was away pretty much the whole day, so i made a treasure map and then went into town to research the camera we wanted to buy. spoke to folks in jessops. did more research in the afternoon on that for the cheapest prices. had a wee marketing meeting with christine for saturday
saturday we were at the HAC mags, karen and douglas again worked really well. christine was around to do some press and marketing with the kids. worked well.
tuesday maria and i went to RAPA (reidvale adventure play association) for a meeting about the training maria was to deliver the following wednesday. in the afternoon, had more research to do, then went to see the workshop space.. should be awesome when its done... :)
wednesday we had stanecastle and the HAC again. at stanecastle mags had both classes together to work on the story aiming to get it filmed in the next few weeks... should be interesting... at the hac jenny let the kids have their say about what they wanted to make. everyone created a few more pieces, which was cool.
thursday, there was a meeting about saturday express that i tagged along to. giant are doing a day of workshops in the hidden gardens. saw the exhibition at the cca
pub lunch since it was kinda my last day, so that was nice.
phoned round loads of schools about giving them flyers for their p5,6 and 7 kids.
friday, i phoned even more schools and organisations and then split up bundles of flyers for distribution. left at 4 with the camera and tripod for saturday.
saturday, arrived late at the hac, filmed each group telling their stories.
